Your skin journey begins with a personalised, nurse-led consultation. During this appointment, we take the time to understand your skin concerns, lifestyle, and long-term goals in a relaxed and supportive setting. It’s a collaborative conversation designed to help you explore your options and learn more about how our treatments may support your skin health.

You may choose from two options:

  • Your First NES Visit | Skin Consultation Only – a focused appointment to discuss your current routine, explore your concerns, and receive tailored recommendations. No treatment performed.

  • First NES Visit | Consultation with Foundational Skin Ritual – Combining your consultation with our signature foundational treatment, designed to begin addressing your skin concerns straight away (if appropriate and following suitability assessment).

START YOUR NES SKIN JOURNEY

  • You’ll receive a registration form to complete before your consultation, which helps us get to know you better and make the best use of the time we have together.  

    There’s no specific skin preparation you need to do, but we’d love to hear what your current routine is and what you’d like to achieve through your skin treatments. 

    There is no time allocated for treatment with this 30 minute consultation. This appointment will cover product and skin treatment recommendations based on your needs.

  • Our Initial Skin Consultation Treatment takes 75 minutes and costs $249, this is the perfect place to begin for all new skin patients.

    Expect a conversation regarding your current routine and concerns.

    Following we will commence a thorough and bespoke cleansing routine, exfoliation steps along with complimentary IMBIBE and/or Synergie Skin Science products and Dermalux LED.

    We’ll write you a skin prescription, which is a clear, customised plan for your complexion, and provide recommendations.

  • We’ll provide you with a customised plan for your skin care treatments, based on our conversation, your unique skin and your goals. 

    We will also recommend what treatment to have next, and when.

    We strongly support samples, so will always provide appropriate options for you to trial at home.

Our Signature Skin Rituals are nurse-led, results-driven skin treatments designed to support long-term skin health, visible skin correction and deep restoration of skin function. Every ritual is tailored following clinical consultation and performed using evidence-based techniques, advanced technologies and prescriptive cosmeceutical formulations.

This is not a traditional facial ~ it is a considered skin treatment pathway that works with your skin at every stage, whether you are maintaining balance, preparing for advanced treatments or restoring compromised skin.

Each appointment includes thorough skin assessment, customised treatment planning, targeted modalities and our signature facial, neck and shoulder massage to ensure you leave feeling both clinically cared for and deeply restored; the perfect combination of results + relaxation.

  • To support recovery and optimise your results, please follow these guidelines:

    • First 48 hours: Avoid makeup, direct sun exposure, heat, and strenuous exercise.

    • Day 2–6: You may notice light shedding or flaking as part of the skin’s natural renewal process. Do not pick or peel the skin. Allow it to shed gently on its own.

    • For 7 days: Avoid active ingredients such as retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, vitamin C, or exfoliating products.

    • Moisturise & protect: Keep your skin well-hydrated, drink at least 2L of water daily, and apply broad-spectrum SPF every morning.

    • Waxing & hair removal: Avoid facial waxing or other hair removal methods for 2 weeks before and after treatment.

    • Recommended care: We advise using Synergie Skin ÜberZinc Face AM and PM for the first 48 hours post-peel.

    • Optional support: Post-treatment skincare kits are available for purchase to further assist healing and maintain skin health.

ALMA | Corrective Laser + Rejuvenating Light

    • These treatments are suitable for existing skin patients, and certain skin types only.

    • ALMA’s advanced and targeted AFT technology allows for energy via Intense-Pulsed-Light (IPL) to penetrate the skin’s epidermal layer without ablation or downtime.

    • At each treatment settings are curated for your skin concern, meaning we can target both brown and red pigmentation.

    • Patient’s may experience the following results:

      • Both global and targeted improvement to brown pigmentation, age spots, sun spots and redness including rosacea, mild facial vessels and cherry angioma’s.

      • Improves the texture, tone and brings improved brightness and clarity to the skin.

      • Supports collagen stimulation to reduce fine lines, wrinkles.

      • Inbuilt cooling technology to keep the treatment comfortable with minimal heat, this minimises any downtime and post treatment redness.

    • No prescription retinoids, steroids, or antibiotic medications for 4 weeks before your ALMA photofacial. 

    • No skin irritations or localised infections.

    • No actives for 3 days prior to your treatment, including over the counter Retinoids/Vitamin A.

    • No sun exposure or sunburn on treated area for 2 weeks prior.

    • No fake tan to treated area.

    • Sun exposure must be avoided for 2 weeks following your treatment.

    • Best results to be seen with a series of treatments, at approximately 4-6 weekly intervals.

    • Begins with a nurse-led, skin assessment to determine if this treatment is suitable for you.

    • The skin is then thoroughly cleansed, a medical grade ultrasound gel is then applied to the skin, and protective eyewear applied.

    • The IPL hand piece is then applied in stamping motions, or in fast motion across the skin.

    • Expect your skin to feel intermittent bursts of warm spicy energy, with visible flashes of light.

    • Following the treatment, a cooling dermal spray then an appropriate dermal cream and solar protection.

    • This treatment is made more comfortable by ALMA’s sophisticated in build cooling technology for improved patient experience and a faster treatment.

    • Expect your skin to have a mild sunburn like feeling with mild redness immediately after treatment and for up to 48 hours post.

    • For the following 10 days expect brown pigmentation to darken as it rises closer to the skins surface, your skin will feel slightly dryer and the brown pigmentation will naturally flake from the skin.

    • For the first 48 hours after your treatment, avoid makeup, sun exposure, and strenuous exercise or heat inclusive of saunas.

    • No active ingredients or exfoliating products for 7 days.

    • Keep your skin moisturised, drink a 2L+ of water and use SPF diligently.

    • Avoid facial waxing and sun exposure for 2 weeks before and after.

    • We recommend using Synergie Skin Uber Zinc Face AM & PM for 48 hours post.

A complimentary, follow-up appointment is an essential part of your NES Aesthetics experience, and is all about ensuring you're feeling fantastic about your results. We can’t wait to welcome you back to see your results.

Your review visit is an opportunity to make sure you're progressing as expected and feeling confident about your treatment journey.

Visit us for a follow up chat, between two to six weeks after your treatment

    • Your treating nurse will usually book this for you, but you’re also always welcome to get in touch to make a follow up appointment if you have questions, or would like to discuss your results.

    • We’ll assess your progress and results of your skin care treatments, reflecting back on your goals from your initial consultation. 

    • An update and refinement of your treatment plan, based on this discussion. 

    • You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, and we’ll make plans for your future treatments. 

    • Further treatments will not be performed during this appointment.

  • A Skin Care Treatment Review is Complimentary and runs for 15 minutes.
